It’s a pity that when people hear the name Rowan Atkinson, one of the most brilliant and prolific comedians ever, they immediately associate it with his unique character Mr. Bean and they stop there. Ingenious though it maybe, Mr. Bean is only one of the characters that Rowan Atkinson devised and developed with his friend and brilliant comedy writer Richard Curtis. He helped to change the face of comedy with the innovative series “Not the nine o’ clock news”, he produced comedy classics in his LIVE performances and John Cleese’s brainchild, where he gathered the funniest comedians for a stage show, for raising money for Amnesty International, Secret Policeman’s Ball. And of course Blackadder. Not only he co-created this comedy masterpiece but his performance there is just… pure evil.
